The Victorian Challenge! *Read Me!*

The Victorian Era was pretty cool, right? Beautiful and elegant clothing, closer communities... Why not re-create some of the magic, but using modern day Video Games! The Victorian Challenge is mainly for The Sims 4 but can be adapted to TS3 or earlier if needed. If you want to get more of the feel for the Victorian Era, why not install some Victorian CC? Search into your search engine: Sims 4 Victorian clothing CC and go onto The Sims Resource. (I can't post links)

Okay here are the rules:
1. No same gender marriages (Sorry guys I'd love to have this in as I am a supporter but the time era this was set in, it wasn't an option :disappointed:)
2. Outdoor toilets! You can put them in a shed type thing.
3. No electrical lighting, find some candles in the lighting category
4. Men must either go to war or work in the business career. Get a decider app or something, 50% chance for each.
5. Women must stay home and care for the children and do the work. #STRESS
6. When the leading man in the house dies, the eldest son inherits the money and house. If there are no sons, the money and house go to the mother or eldest daughter.
7. No smoke alarms, TV's, Tablets, Computers ect allowed! The most old looking oven is allowed and an old looking fridge too.
8. No showers, only bathtubs.
9. No painted walls, only wallpaper.
10. If your sim (male or female) falls in love with someone who was not created by you (base game sims, NPC's), if your sim moves
If you think of any more rules, comment them below or add your own as long as they apply with Victorian Era life.

I'm a bit confused about the wording of this rule, could you please clarify? 10. If your sim (male or female) falls in love with someone who was not created by you (base game sims, NPC's), if your sim moves. And what is the endgame of the challenge and is there a way to fail? I've always been fascinated by the Victorian era, so I do like the sound of this challenge. :) I'm currently doing the Legacy Challenge though, so I don't know if I'll be doing it anytime soon.

  • This sounds interesting, I might try it, not as a challenge, but a new way to play

Hi! Sorry for such a late reply! It must have slightly cut out my final part. If your Sim falls in love with someone not created by you, if you move them in with you, you must give them a Victorian-style makeover. If they live alone, you can sell their house too for extra funds.
  • I might do this challenge but different want do Sims 4 Victorian afternoon tea party as well as Sims 4 Dine out
