I know Jungle Adventure just came out and I absolutely LOVE it, but we could always have more vacation worlds. Now I know we won’t get one for at least a year or so, I just want to throw some ideas out there in the meanwhile. I’m not sure we'll get a tropical theme, but because lots of us want it, I feel they’ll take the hint and make it as the next vacation game pack. Possible Features Tropical Vacation World (island with volcano) 6/8 lots not including hidden ones Swimmable Ocean Scuba Areas ( Uses Jungle Adventure mechanics to explore beneath the water and find rare ocean collectables, danger aka sharks, etc. ) Scuba Skill (Progression, swimming in pool/ocean, snorkeling in pool/ocean, and scuba diving in diving spots. ) New Activities/ Objects (Towel for Beach Relaxing, Building Sandcastles, Loungers, Floaties, Pool Slides, Pool Bar, Pool Waterfall, Food Stalls.) Beach (LifeGuard and their chair, Beach Goers doing various beach activities) Rentals/Buyable Vacation Homes Interactions (Help Toddler in water, Shaka Bra, Etc.) Ocean Treasure Collection Shell Collection New Food/Drink I think this would be a pretty awesome pack just like Jungle Adventure ;) @SimGuruNinja

I'd love to see a vacation/on holiday game pack! I also think curved pool tools should make a return too!

I can't wait for a tropical pack. I hope that they don't forget jet skis, water skiing, and surfing. I also want boats. I don't care if they can only traverse a neighborhood. Create neighborhoods that are mostly beaches and ocean and fill them with water-based activities.If we can watch a steamboat go by, I would love it if an area even half that size could be used for real boats! I would also love to be able to take smaller boats through the waterways that run throughout neighborhoods. Larger boats would, of course, be reserved for oceans and large lakes. Fishing from the boats would be cool, too.

This is such a simple thing, however, I would love it so much. Aside from lounge chairs, it would also be nice if there was a version for a pair of Sims. It would be similar to the gaze at the stars interaction. Except, the Sims would be sitting up to watch the waves. If the Sims have a romantic relationship, it would be wonderful if they could cuddle while watching the waves.

Little touches like this would be so welcome.

Sounds great! But I would like it even more if they let us swim/dive in all ocean spots im every world. I miss that about previous Sims games

As someone who hates exploring and gets no enjoyment out of collecting whatsoever I hope a pack like this gives us more activities beyond the few fun activities you listed surfing and beach volleyball are a must.

Nah, TS3 had so much more:

houseboats, sailboats, rowboats, speedboats, paddle boats, even swan boats. Also, there were jet skis, water skiing, and wind surfing.

Ocean swimming was already available since Seasons. However, Island Paradise added snorkeling as well as scuba diving. There were large underwater lots to explore, treasure to find, and mermaids to meet.

On land, there was an entire resort system that Sims could buy into -- from the most pitiful tourist trap to five star hotels.

There was also a lifeguard career, three new deaths, two new traits, two radio stations, and a new life state -- the mermaid.

My issue with such a pack really is that it seems pretty limited gameplay wise. I didn't play Sims 3 for tropical island so I can't tell what they added in the game with it, but it just seems a bit boring I guess - just playing on the beach and collecting stuff... which seems kinda fun but also has a pretty limited gameplay... like said above, it would be pretty basic.
