- I'd love a non-buggy version of Island Paradise, but an amusement park resort place like Disneyland or Rolling Heights from Sims 3 would be nice too.

Which vacation world would you like to see next? Let me know why! :)
I picked Beach World but I also want Themeparks. The Spring Break Worlds are the same as Beach World. I also want a Snowy Alpine World. - I want beach activities so bad, but a cruise would be nice, too. Could the cruise ship make stops at different ports of call? That could be the best of both worlds.

I'd choose all but first I want Asia because I have a half-Japanese sim and this would help with storytelling more about her mother in my legacy and I would love for her son and newly adopted daughter to see Japan.
I know what you mean.
That's what I was hoping for when JA dropped. The female Sim on the far right of my signature pic, her day was supposed to be Indian and her mother Hispanic. I was all set to have her go visit her mother in Selvadorada, until I found out that the natives don't actually live there. I'll have to cheat the story again. :/
Hopefully, future vacation worlds will have homes for the local citizens. - Part of me believe that Beach/Tropical is probably the least exciting and done so many times, but I also can't help but just relax while I imagine my Sims sun bathing and swimming. Yes, that's probably my perfect image of vacation.
Themeparks could be also fun, and really interesting. - I need to change my vote to "other" since I didn't see it before. I came into the forums today because my sister in law is planning a trip to Disney World.. I was just thinking while helping her research for her trip, how amazing it would be if our Sims could go!! I think a Disney World trip would be super fun! The Sims team could team up with Disney (maybe) or just take their ideas and make them their own! Kids meeting Princes and Princesses from mocked up Disney movies!! Our Sims riding the rides and sampling the food.. staying in a resort. Oh yes! That would be AWESOME. (An actual resort, not a rabbit hole like TS3 please) I'm just having a read through what you all have suggested, and seems many of us are thinking the same!

Cruise I would like this, if it was somewhere interesting, like New Zealand, the Greek islands, or Norway.
Beach / Tropical Brighton Beach and its Pier? Yes. Anything tropical? No.
Theme Park (Universal Studios, Disney World, etc) Wouldn't it be Llama Studios, or Plumbob World?
Europe (Italy, France, Spain, the UK, etc) But what about Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden? An entire continent full of countries, each being very different.
Asia (Japan, China, etc) Seriously?
Desert (Egypt) Why Egypt? I live in Australia, in the desert, on the coast. Why not look at my home?
Mountains Mount Kosciuszko!?!
Spring Break Vacation (Miami, Vegas, Bahamas, etc) I don't understand this concept. These just places in the US, what is 'spring break' about them? Wouldn't the tulip fields in the Netherlands be more of a 'spring' theme?
Other Why do holiday locations have to be real world based?
Why not The Unicorn forest east of Windenburg?
Or the Valley of Grhypons north of Oasis Springs?

Death Valley.
No not the place in the US, but where Grim Lives.
When I called out specific places, it was just to give the general idea of what I meant, for inspiration. Not that I just want THOSE specific places or THOSE real-world locations in the game. Hence, the "etc" because it would be too long of a list to mention every place in the world. I mentioned those places because it is what I am familiar with. But Anything new would be awesome to have, whether its a completely new idea or inspired by real-world locations/cultures! Like the theme park would obviously be Sims-inspired since I don't expect them to put Disney characters in our game all of a sudden. It'd be Freezer Bunny or Llama related. As for the 'Spring Break' concept, I think It is more of the idea of a university spring break, which is when students tend to travel for the week-long break. Those places mentioned are locations that often come to mind (for me, at least) due to the activities in those areas, such as beach parties, pool parties, paint parties, music festivals, and/or casinos. But once again, I don't mean that its confined to those areas only. Any suggestions would be nice to have - I'd like to see a Japan-based vacation pack. And, since Japan is a country of many climates, that could include mountain ski resorts (Hokaido) and/or tropical beaches (Okinawa). The main area would probably be based on Kyoto, with shrines and temples, gardens, an "otaku" district, and a hot springs resort. Also, Japan throws some awesome festivals.

That'd be why I don't get it. Uni breaks in spring and autumn tend to be a couple of weeks long here, but most people save the 'travel' for the end of the year, or at least until the end of the semester. Those places mentioned are locations that often come to mind (for me, at least) due to the activities in those areas, such as beach parties, pool parties, paint parties, music festivals, and/or casinos. That's making me thing that your 'spring break' is more like our 'schoolies week'
Any suggestions would be nice to have
Well, I'm kinda obsessed with the concept of a 'series of unfortunate events' styled version of the Brighton Pier. I want a Gothic seaside holiday.

A cross between Penzance (with it's infamous pirates), Brighton (with it's pier and carnival), and Whitby Goth Weekend (goths at the seaside)

I actually really love this!!! I think we need more victorian / gothic styles like this to create different stories with sims. I would love to see something like this happen. I love the swimsuits idea and the beach chairs!
