Why can't our Sick Sims go to the hospital?

The hospital should have been accessible for these things. The same for the rest of it too.

yea i agree its kinda daft that we have a hospital but can only use it for births. What about sickness, broken arms/legs/pregnancy for scans check ups see due date etc,

I think that the hospital system was a let down, I wanted to be able to have checkups, serious illnesses that could kill your sims if you couldn't afford medicines, gender reveals that way, having to stay overnight at the hospital, visiting friends/families. There was so much they could've down and it was a let down to be honest.

I agree.
The hospital ws a nice idea ... introducing illnesses was a nice idea.
But making all illnesses curable by a panacea that you just have to order for little money via computer
(instead of having to go to hospital in order to get an examination and determine the cure) was a bad idea.

I'd also like to see the entire doctor career reworked. I love being a doctor, but I hate that my sim is the only sim actually doing anything when they go to work!

Ordered the cure all panacea via computer, but then my sim was dazed for awhile because the sim took the whole bottle ...what?!
How can I get sims to take only the proper amount?

I'd love to see an option in the second trimester to go to the hospital for a sonogram/ultrasound! You could see ahead of time whether it was 1, 2, or 3 babies, and what the gender(s) was.

If illnesses progressively got worse without treatment, it would be a compromise for players who want to cure their sims with oj/tea/cough syrup quickly, while players who want it to mean more could just ignore the initial symptoms until their sim was sick enough to require hospital care.

I'm also one of those sickos who kind of wishes some illnesses wouldn't go away, or were even fatal, if not properly treated...

I'd like to be able to visit all the GTW lots, especially the science venue which is a collector's paradise. We don't always want to play those careers, but that's no reason why we shouldn't have access to those lots.
