The hospital seems to be a little lacking. Can someone explain how it works? Like, simple it down, please! I get that our sims, if they get sick, can't visit the hospital and see NPC doctors. A little disappointed in that, I am! That, to me, is the most disappointing part.Please, tell me that I am missing something amazing about this hospital!You can only see the hospital if you are playing as a doctor. What? We could visit the hospital in Sims 3, but that was open world. And only curing our sims' illnesses with orange juice and warm drinks? Fun, but I think it would be even more fun if we could have our sims get physicals. I was looking forward to something like that.(Think a sim saying, "Aaaa" to the doctor but the breath is so bad the doctor passes out. No new town- New neighborhood. Also, the point is working at the hospital, not to go to the hospital just to go to the hospital . Why don't you go to the hospital, and bother them when you don't even work there, and not sick in real life. You won't, and couldn't. Same with the sims.

Sims can't go to the hospital when they're sick. They can order medication or nurse themselves back to help. I think physicals are a thing, as there's sims that get stuffed checked in trailers and they don't have any visible signs of illness. There's multiple types of illnesses. Hospital beds. Treating patience. Different work levels. Surgery. Births. There's a new world, but it's more of an add on for Willow Creek on a separate button. Disabilities is a bit of a tricky topic, some people want them some people feel bad about them. Overall amputees would be hard because of movements and such, they'd have to redo everything for every EP just so a sim can grab something with one arm.

Yeah, when I heard that player-controlled Sims can't go to the hospital for physicals or when they have illnesses, it bummed me out, too. I just don't get why EA decided this. There's a hospital, there's the interactions that the doctors do when they're player-controlled as well as the interactions that the sick NPCs do, and there's the animations, so how hard could it be to put all that together the other way and let sick player-controlled sims go the hospital? Unless there's a huge programming obstacle that I'm missing due to my lack of programming knowledge, I just don't get it.I hope either EA hears its players and patches a solution or mods can do it, but I'm not getting my hopes up. IMHO, this is the most disappointing thing confirmed about GTW yet.

I wonder if the same relate to the police station? I thought if I did something "bad" I could spend a few sim days in jail!! Or maybe pay a fine for doing push ups in a no exercise zone! This takes away a bit of the excitement!

I'm just hoping for the opportunity to reap some sim-souls who "tragically" succumb to illness / quirky hazards via the *ahem* Claw Machine :mask: .. that shall (erm hopefully?) randomise certain death sequences or chances of failed operations which result in the untimely demise of the poor unfortunate patient. Of course I'm a realist. And grown accustomed to the ways of EA by now to learn that such grandiose thinking is hazardous to their

I also believe that it would be good for a sick sim to be able to go to the hospital and get seen by the doctor.

Your pregnant sim can choose to go to hospital to give birth and you can follow them.
