24h clock setting, please
I'm not American, but I play with English and then I get am/pm which is unnatural to me. Couldn't you look into adding a setting for if you want 24h clock or 12h one?

Such a basic setting should be present in the game. I am surprised it is missing in the options. I have considered switching the games language to English but I can't play with the whole am/pm. It gets me confused all the time.
That sounds like a good idea.
AM= morning hours
PM= night hours in US standard times.
24 hours= all day and all night until I choose to close.
I want total control of all hours of operation in my businesses which is 24 hour control.
I understand places need to close to restock, clean and rest...
24 hours means you do this on the job and have enough employees to rotate around an 8 or 10 hour shift.
I do agree there should be an option for military time. My son has all his electronics, microwave, stove, Google home, etc set for military time and sometimes I'm so confused.😄
I have never used military time...to this day I still need to look up times that are in military.
I'm not wordly in that way..😒🙂
Edit: I just want 24 hrs. In Sims 3 we had military hour settings but I always chose the 24 hour clock. All of my clubs were open for 24 hours because I had a mod from MTS that allowed this along with Naars.
In sims 4 B&H businesses close at the 23rd hour and you can reopen right away but this is not set up for your employees. They may come back to work unhappy in a 24 hour work environment.
This is why I need more employees to run my hotels, motels and other 24 hr businesses.
Give me 8-10 employees, 24 hours and then I can have a happy hotel in game with B&H.
A military time clock setting would be fine with me. I was an Air Force brat, so I knew that setting from a young age. I will say a majority of Americans that I know are not familiar with it. If you say supper is at 1800 hours, they are confused. It is not a common way for many to tell time. I can only speculate that as to why it isn't a feature already.
4 real dont make me look 1800 up! 😆
Edit: I didn't see anything about a military clock in the OP's title...just 24 and 12 hours..
What you call military time IS the 24 hour clock, the Metric system :)
And as unnatural it can be for you to convert time quickly into what you're used to, it's equally so for us who has to do the opposite lol. That's why I really wish they would add the 24h (metric) clock as an option over the 12h (imperial) clock, so everyone can just have it the way they're used to :D
Basically, what metric time is, it starts at 1, which is 1am for you, and goes to 24 which is midnight (12pm). We who are using that don't have to think anything of it of course, it's just what we've always used.
18:00 is 6pm.
Miataplay, 1800 hours is 6pm. When I read this post, I figured they meant what some Americans know as military time. It is like many people wake up at 0600 (spoken as oh-six hundred) hours. There are many games I play that use military time as a way to tell time.
