A way to pause or remove aging for specific sims (and pets) in households?

I know you can mark households as unplayed and then set unplayed sims to age automatically, but I really wish there was a setting or some potion that completely removes age progression for SPECIFIC sims, played and unplayed, with pets included! 

(I have two households, both played, with parents and a cat and horse that I want to pause aging for, but leave the children to grow up automatically. I’m a major generations/family simmer, I don’t want to have to manually age up the children all the time. Does this sound tedious?)

There’s a potion of rejuvenation (Realm of Magic?) and something else but they either reset the current life stage or they pause aging at elder stage 💔 I’m a console player and I’ve bought ALL of the packs, so I don’t really want to leave console behind and resort to mods to solve this issue…

    Would also be useful for like shared custody situations where you transfer a child to an active household from an different one for a few days, but want to keep the aging handled by their 'home' household, whether it is another household in your rotation, or an inactive household. I think you can accomplish this with MCCC, but it would be nice to have with base game

    Baby Ariel NPC has an immortality trait, you could add that trait to your sims you don't want aging. You will need to use cheats.

    crocobaura​ I forgot to say thanks! I tried this trait and it seems to work.. wonderful! But I have no way of stopping my cat or horse from aging unless I remember to keep feeding them those special treats 💔
