Another important feature that is missing is the ability to assign private and public areas, as well as the option to close doors based on role.
And actually, the game would benefit hugely if all the available customizations from Community lots, Businesses and Hobbies, Getaways, and Custom Venues were merged. There is no reason to limit the user to those random limitations. I'm not referring to include the functionality that allows to manage business, but to allow the creation of venues that include all the NPC roles to be able to visit them with your Sims (for example, a mall that has retail businesses, a food court, a movie theater, a hair salon, etc)
Even in terms of business model, it would simplify the game development a lot, and it would only be necessary to add new items and activities in future packs.
