Assigning "No Shoes Rule" to Certain Rooms

I personally enjoy this feature a lot, and I was wondering if it can be improved? Right now, sims just remove their shoes in any area that's considered a room. It can be immersion breaking, especially after the release of Horse Ranch, where you can build a stable (and I don't think it's wise to be barefoot in there). 

Maybe this feature can work like how you assign rooms/areas in For Rent or Business and Hobbies.
