I agree. I don't mind if the occult form hair/makeup is different from the human form but I don't understand why the whole face changes on the occult form.
I've been playing for several weeks with mermaids and fairies in my current save and the trick I use (although it is tedious, especially if I forget) is to leave the two forms locked in CAS when they first age up to teen, then go to the occult form, change the hair, so then the face will snap to be the same as the non-occult one, then I unlock the two forms so I can edit makeup and clothing independently and at least they have the same face again.
But it would be nice if the faces were the same from the start. Doesn't make sense that the occult form has a totally different face. I don't recall this being a problem with vampires, but I haven't played one in a while.
Oh my goodness, you can do that?! You must have to specifically edit the occult first because all this time I’ve been editing the hidden form first before unlocking (it feels better that way to me). I will have to try this in the future, but jeez that is truly tedious…
I don’t actually know for sure if this is an issue with vampires, I just assumed since they also have two forms. Let’s hope they’re fine!
I hope adjustments can be made to make the faces more similar. I do like the naturally different ears and teeth, you know… the body parts better known for changing amongst humans vs occults in fiction, but I feel like genetics between different forms is too whacky right now. Not to mention that manually changing features feels less true to their given DNA. 😔
