Anyone else really want burglars back? I long for the days of my childhood, hearing that music and watching the burglars fight the police. It's such an iconic part of the Sims, I really feel they should bring it back but make it optional for players who find it anxiety inducing
I thought when when Get to Work came out we were definitely gonna get burglars but we didn't. Then after we got both repair persons and fire fighters I thought we were gonna get burglars next! But we didn't. When we got the repo person I thought now for sure ... But nope lol.
After For Rent I was so sure that break ins were also gonna reintroduce burglars but once again disappointed lol..
I feel like everything is there for burglars to come back but for some reason we still don't have them and I wonder why.
They are iconic.
They provide challenge and consequence to the game.
It could be an interesting career type
There are lots of storytelling ideas it could give players.
Knowing the Sims 4, this will probably be a seperate pack
Not really. I like the game where yo can control everything. Although of they ever did decide to put it back in, I'd prefer if there was an option to toggle burglaries. I feel they'd just get in the way of playing.
I feel your pain the worse part is when you have the door locked at least that is what it says but .. still..
There is a downside even if i find the bug funny sometimes 🙂 it all depend upon the situation that is being played out .. if your sim is paying a visit to another household that your sim knows; i will pull an example : the sim i am currently playing got a partner and they were having a get together with movies and popcorn at his place, he still lives with his family and my sim crashed 😳 she was so tired and it took less then a second then the rest of his family stood next to her all of sudden and yelled at her ☹️
They told her to get out of the house and she really knows them 😞 so there is a gap that doesn't connect with the rest..
it was plain sad.
But if your sim use the break in option then it's fine, they can eat and sleep and do whatever.
The perfect situation if you want to play a burglar or any criminal with dark motives
This is also the perfect option if you got a story going on and got this sim who is senile or being erratic or simply annoying.
You can have lots of fun with that 😛
But yes i mean if you are on the other side then you got nothing to lean on,
That sim is without protection
