Edit extended Family Trees

I'd love it if in manage worlds you can edit family trees, so you can update families that are added per pack/gallery/etc. Many people love the family trees of the main Sim families, like the Goth, Crumplebottom, Bachelor and Caliente families which are connected together throughout the series.  So many marriages, cousins, etc.

And allow TBA/placeholders for unknowns and not yet added to the game Sims. Also allow for NPCs we cannot control so they are not left out. This would help with non-canon romancing with extended family from happening.

edit: Last year made templates for the Sims wiki for family trees. And set up the cross-over legacies for the Goth/Crumplebottom/Bachelor/Caliente Family Tree. For example on why we need a more complex family tree system.

    MCCC copy the settings but before you have to assign all the appropriate presets in CAS for each part (nose, eyes, chin, jaw, cheeks, ... ) to get a perfect clone.

    It's annoying but possible.

    these mods dont exist like that. if you copy something via mccc the sims is still a different one, like a imposter that just looks the same. and "just use mods" is the wrong mindset.

    Or just use mods to copy the new appearance over the old sims.

    Maybe Maxis could add a category in the gallery for Surgery & Wardrobe presets.

    imo this is a issue about the whole game, that lore just goes bye bye..when you download the main npcs from the gallery (appearance overahul for example) and place it, their whole family is gone too and you have to edit it all back in cas. i hope ea will rework the npcs so their original lore is back and is deep coded in the system so its more stable

    Sad that the new family tree update can't edit family trees. Nyon still doesn't have the Grim Reaper as his father.

    I was really hopeful with this update but honestly it seems like bare minimum. 

    Goth's missing Agatha, but at least Agnes was added:

    I'd also love it if we could edit the Grim Reaper's (Father Winter's, etc.) family tree(s) so we can add Nyon Specter, any player made Grimborns, Father Winter's Baby, etc.

    Sadly Maxis hates family trees.

    Mortimer Goth isn't related to his aunts Agnes & Agatha Crumplebottom, his uncle Roberto Crinkletop and his ancestor Lady Ravendancer Goth.
