farmer's market, functional stationary, and more interactive shells.

There are some storytelling features that I'd like to see added to the game to enhance gameplay.

  1. Farmer's market: functions like the city living flea market. Can be held at a community space and allows sims to sell homemade ingredients, livestock products, cross - stitch and knitted items. I understand why nifty knitting allows sims to sell items using online listings, however, I like gameplay that gets sims out into their neighborhoods. A farmer's market would be a nice feature.
  2. Functional stationary: when the off the grid challenge is enabled, sims can perform relevant interactions that are normally available on the phone and computer via functional station objects.  Sims can use parchment paper, scrolls, and writing journals to perform writing, social, and work tasks that are normally performed on computers. Sims can purchase items via catalogues received in the mail. Sims can plan social events using calendars or invitation cards. Sims can complete crosswords puzzles and word searches in newspapers received in the mail in order to fill their fun motive (instead of playing video games).
  3. More interactive shells. expansion packs are being released with fewer lots and loading screens are annoying and time consuming when traveling between worlds. Interactive shells alleviate this by allow sims to perform interactions and activate rabbitholes while on the map and without triggering additional loading screens. There are interactive shells available for exploration, showering, purchasing livestock, watching movies, and map travel. I like these features. I think new interactive shells should be introduced for more in world gameplay, especially when space is limited. New shells could allow sims to purchase items, order food and drinks, socialize, hunt and forage for materials and ingredients, and improve skills. Another option would be to add more portals and hidden lots. There are only a few hidden lots in game, but they allow sims to access additional lots that don't affect their residential world. New hidden lots should be added and have more diverse features and functionality. Batuu and Jungle Adventures are great examples of creative uses for hidden lots.
  4. I'd really like worlds to functional like open world sandboxes. Aside from traveling between worlds, traveling between lots in the same world shouldn't trigger a loading screen and the map should be fully accessible and open.

  • yes to the first 3 lists but the last one maybe an open neighbourhood but an open world is a terrible idea in my opinion

The Sims 3 had them but i heard it was unplayable with an open world
