Generations - deaths

I'm not sure if this is a super issue for many but I'm working through a generations save currently. I've also made a graveyard for all the immediate and extended family members, mostly to keep their spirit in the game and make sure they don't fade away. I just WISH there was a way to find the NPC sims urns that die off their lots. I'm just never been able to find the urns to add them. Most recently my sim had a child with someone they weren't married to and I had him stay as a townie. He now died and the kid can't contact him or find his urn to keep the relationship alive. It would be helpful to just guarantee that the urn or grave shows up at their last known address, at the very least.
