@Vyo4 what a fun idea!
I was super happy to see that announcement especially as I'm going to be so glad to ditch that huge cumbersome machine. I often add a utility room or a basement to place it but I'll be happy when I can use the oven instead. I don't like it's appearance or cleaning it but I have a couple of cupcake businesses so I still use it in some chefs/farmers households 🧁.

I agree and am also looking forward to making cupcakes in the oven. But I do like the silly quirkiness of the old factory and want to give it renewed purpose, even if it's only for silly treats that are best produced by a silly steam-powered factory.
The Cupcake Factory is very Steampunk styled. Maybe if the designers could introduce some "clean" finishes for it to match other appliances, it would look nice in bakeries. Match to some of the fridge finishes.

Another silly recipe this silly machine could produce is a whipped-cream pie.
This pie can only be created by Sims with a high Mischief skill or as a promotion reward recipe in the Comedian career track. When this pie is in the Sim's personal inventory, they can throw the pie at another Sim as a Mischief interaction. Pie throwing is an old vaudeville antic and slapstick gag made famous by comedic greats like Charlie Chaplin and the Three Stooges. Might be funny to see in game. Imagine selling these with the Home Chef Hustle stand - would a food fight ensue?
