now that we have burglars in the base game how about adding a swat officer branch and forensic analyst branch and i have get to work for detective career the forensic analyst is to complex for a detective to do and swat officer is for action
This is exactly what I wanted and expected to see after the introduction of burglars in the game.
These burglars need to add to the Detective/Police Career. What's the point if they don't?
I don't want them for nostalgia... I want to book them and lock them up.

this is a separate career from detective and you can only 2 branches to keep it in-line with other careers forensic analyst is one i don't have a good name for the swat officer action/dangerous theme branch this career is semi-active
How about we throw bounty hunters into the mix? 😂 And since you mentioned the forensics branch, we could totally include a computer forensics branch to tackle cyber crime!
Two things. When I said "If I had my way" it automatically means just that, I would not be following a two branch format for the Careers but something of my own invention. My interpretation of Careers would have more than two potential branches and sub-branches if it pleases me.
Secondly though I am kinda interested in SWAT being apart of the police officer branch, I think it would not happen because of what it sort of implies. You don't typically send SWAT out after people you intend to be arresting which is a bit dark for a game younger children also play. However the Sims have had darker themes in the past so who's to say they wouldn't consider adding SWAT and far be it from me to discourage reasonable newness.
I like to see a Sim as a ninja.
the swat darker stuff happens off camera in a rabbit hole for censorship age ratings reasons i sure they can think of good chance cards and scenarios the sims are too dangerous for a detective to arrest for causing a disaster
