I’d love to see a duplex/apartment system where separate households can live on different floors of the same building, with features like noise complaints between neighbors. It would make apartment gameplay feel more realistic and add fun storytelling, like upstairs/downstairs neighbor conflicts and landlord-tenant dynamics.
UrsTrulyMs_Green City Living and Eco lifestyle both have this feature with their apartments. Noise disturbances are quite common, they keep Sims awake or just make them extremely angry if it's earlier in the day. They can handle it in a couple of different ways and get different outcomes. They can knock on the door and ask the neighbour politely to keep the noise down or they can ask less politely, the noisy neighbours either apologise or refuse.
For Rent adds the upstairs/downstairs tenant possibilities with various conflicts and landlord disputes.
