Lock Fridge Option
There should be a lock fridge option. I host a party, and the guests are digging in my fridge drinking my milk and eating my honey! Plus it would make for some interesting gameplay for the more sadistic simmers hahahah

Sorry to burst the bubble here, but I did actually ask this during the initial Q&A session for the Food update and the Sims Devs said they did look into this but due to technical reasons they are unable to do it.
I agree, and think this would be possible with them recently allowing us to lock televisions.
I've been thinking the same thing recently. Anyway.... It would be especially helpful in my save because some of the spawned townies ended up randomly receiving the glutton trait, and more than likely raided the fridge whenever they were invited over to my sims' house for a party.
taykomitch If my Sim has a busy house I put the fridge in a small utility room and lock that door. I get fed up of the constant fridge raiding and glasses being left all over. I mean, it's just rude!
