Thank you for saying this! I have been playing since The Sims 1. I have bought every single pack for The Sims 4, that's over $1500. I don't play every single day, I go through phases and I do TRY (lol) to have a life off my computer sometimes. I pre-ordered Lovestruck and then checked the official website to read the news and found out that I had completely missed the log in event. And I'm really bummed about it!!
I know there are some mods where people have added the free content, so that's nice, but I don't usually play with mods and I like to keep my games as vanilla as much as possible. I know EA/Maxis are trying to engage the community with fun events but honestly I think "log in events" are kinda gross. It's bad enough that they have added the "buy packs" button and that they tempt you with content you don't have. Maybe I'm just salty because I missed out. But I do think that if you are a loyal player, or heck even a casual player, there should be another way to get the rewards.
