Modifications to the Romance Socials?

I really don't like how some of the socials under the romance category aren't compatible with furniture. For example, if your Sim uses the "hold hands" social, they will cancel any current sitting action instead of just multitasking like they would with a TV. Also, maybe things like your Sim's first kiss? Your Sim will automatically go back to having general conversation with their love interest like they're acquaintances which is kind of weird to watch but you do you, I guess.
