More destination world expansions

The most recent expansions have introduced a lot of new residential worlds. I want to see some more destination world expansions. My top suggestions would be: arctic world and outback world. I'd also like to see another commercial world (like magnolia promenade)

Here are the features that would be included in the expansion

Arctic world: Canada or Greenland inspired

  1. New fishing spot: ice fishing hole
  2.  New outdoor activities: snow and ice sculpting, buildable igloo (functions like a tent)
  3. New transportation: snow mobile
  4. New interactive shell: ice cave
  5. New appliance: snow cone maker
  6. New interactive wildlife: arctic fox, seal, and penguin
  7. New hobbies: leather tanning; leather crafting (wearable fur and leather items and buildbuy decor)

Outback world: Australia inspired

  1. New activities: boomerang throwing, archery, and logging
  2. New transportation: jeep
  3. New interactive wildlife: kangaroo, koala, and ostrich
  4. New woodworking recipes and optional ingredients
  5. New environmental activities: destroy poacher traps, repair wildlife den, and build bird house
  6. New event: rodeo (with mechanical bull)
  7. New outdoor sports: bungee jump and zip line

Commercial world: Tokyo or Paris inspired: will come with new commercial venue types

  1. Cinema.  It will be a buyable business. It would allow players to earn money selling tickets and concessions. Will feature a ticket counter (or ticket machine) and concessions bar (with new snacks and drinks such as nachos, candy, and slushies). I realize there is already a movie stuff pack and a cinema interactive shell, but I want something more in - depths. Sims will have new interactions such as: tell movie spoiler, as about movie premier, and complain about movie trailer.
  2. Arcade: It will be an entertainment venue with new types of games such as driving games, shooting games, skeeball, claw machine, etc Sims will earn tickets from games and can exchange them for prizes.
  3. Carnival. It will feature amusement rides (similar to the copperdale boardwalk). Will have activities such as carousel, bumper cars, roller coaster, and acrobatics tent. Will also have new appliances such as cotton candy machine
  4. Laser tag venue
  5. Paint ball venue
  6. New hobby: perfume crafting and perfumery skill. Perfume recipes will have flower ingredients. Adds another custom craftable and give more variety for owning retail stores.
  • Additionally, I would like to see a new feature added to the vacation system to accommodate corporate retreats. That way, sims can go on retreats to destination worlds with their co-workers/employees (sorry household members) and do team building exercises to improve their skills and friendship. There would even be an option to add a holiday tradition (corporate retreat) to the calendar from seasons DLC. Then it would be an official holiday with time off work,

I too would like more destination focused world. In previous versions of the sims we got a vacation pack with 3 different super detailed worlds. I would like something like that.

Each destination should have unique interactions to learn like new greetings and dances. New recipes to try and learn. A new skill associated with each location. New wood working items for each location. Unique souvenirs for each location. New harvestables. Maybe some sort of new collection.

I've seen a lot of conversions for these items. I believe it is TS3 world adventures. To some extent, TS4 isn't surpassing or even matching TS3. Aside from better graphics, the developers should bring something that wasn't in TS3 or goes beyond the packs available from TS3. And vacation and exploration style packs are lacking. Jungle adventure is exciting because of the archaeology skill, exploration, traps, and Selvadoran culture. However, EA hasn't continued this momentum.

There were a lot of things that I enjoyed about the sims 3 but what ultimately brought me to the sims 4 was the ability to live in and travel between nearly every world. In the sims 3 you were limited to your home world and the vacation worlds and that's it. We have something like 20 worlds in the sims 4. Also sims 3 used to freeze and shut down on me a lot but that's getting pretty off topic.

Travel and having unique travel experiences is a style of gameplay that I really enjoy so I'm holding out hope for a sims 4 version of world adventures, sims 2 also had a vacation pack with 3 locations and unique items/interactions.

  • I would love to see TS3 World adventures done for the sims 4. I enjoyed the areas and the tomb exploring ( original and downloaded ) that was the main thing i kept going back to sims 3 for. I know we have Jungle world but not the same as there is no tomb building. I loved the puzzles to work out and the local areas to explore.
