Neighborhoods with tones of fake buildings looks dead...

The Main offender is one of the neighborhood in Eco Lifestyle world, I have spent too many times getting lost trying to find another active lot nearby or the nap board due to too many fake buildings.

I like the level of decor in the worlds but I would obviously like it if we could make those nearby houses playable.

I like having lively worlds with activity going on. Sometimes I have not minded quieter worlds such as the Windenburg countryside as well.

That Eco Lifestyle neighborhood makes me so mad because it has the space to have a kids playground object and maybe a chess table in the empty field.

Really? I think they look more alive than the TS2 worlds.

Fixed:

dark red - current variant
dark red + green - minimal upgraded variant (7 lots in neighborhood in total with community lot | still less than Old Town in Windenburg)
dark red + green + blue - optimum upgraded variant (9 lots in total | one more lot than in Windenburg Old Town, but on smaller area)
dark red + green + blue + pink - maximum upgraded variant (16 lots in total | all fake houses are removed)

How to implement?

First option:
Every new save you can choose how much lots do you want to have (as we can choose season currently) - Minimal number (current number of lots), Optimal number (some of fake houses are replaced by lots), Maximal number (the most of fake houses are replaced)

Second option:
Every new save will have more lots and some of fake lots will be rabbitholes now. Evergreen Habror, Brichester and San Myshuno for example will have more apartments and lots, Del Sol Valley will have one more district and some additional lots.

The Sims 3 in total has 1845 lots... The Sims 4 can have less than 500 now.

I find it kind of odd in a game that is heavy on loadscreens every time you need to visit a neighbor lot (likely done for optimization reasons in the middle of gameplay), they still fill in the void with fake buildings that you can't even visit. Like what's the point? It's easier to plop a building without any sort of interior decoration or Sim creation yeah, but it sure as heck is lazy and bad for gameplay.

Regarding Wakaba in Mt. Komorebi, I would've just created the lower neighborhood, but had it be entirely playable lots.

I just want to talk to Maxis and find out who came up with the idea of having unplayable lots in the playable area.

Me: I want to see next door neighbors coming and going from their homes.
EA: Let's replace next door neighbors with fake homes.

This makes keeping Eco Lifestyle out of my game an easy choice.
I really don't like the world, along with NAPs. It feels desolate.

SimGurus have the last moment to fix Mt Komorebi. I hope that this time they will listen us, because they do not touch the packs after realise...
