For me, after looking at the code and testing ingame, my vampire is not supposed to get the moodlet from many activities. Listening to Japanese Folk wont build it. Doing meditation does seem to. It was mostly my fireplace being set to on and autolight. It would pop up twice a day. Tested with MCCC and checking hidden buffs and playing the game, and with the fireplace off, the hidden buff nor the moodlet will be acquired. Sorta buggy it seems

Did you file a bug report? Where is the link?
Edit on my last comment: With the fireplace off, the hidden buff and moodlet will *not be acquired so it is working properly, for non occults at least. Vampires I would need to double check the tuning and see if it blacklists Emotionally Dampened. I remember the music and some of the other files did and were working according to the tuning.
I never made a bug report. I just stopped using the fireplace. My sim doesnt actually feel the weather effects so I was just turning it on for winter roleplay ambience. I hadnt tested other fireplaces so it could just be the one I was using. Im not really sure if it is a bug, more of an oversight and forgetting to add Emotionally Dampened to the blacklist for the acquisition of the buff from certain sources.
I don't use mods at all. The only time I used mods is when I made them myself. I think the person with the complaint uses mods. I never get the emotionally mindful Moodlet unless I have my Sim try Wellness activities. They didn't state what activities they are doing. My Sim doesn't get the Moodlet from going to work.
