One thing The Sims 4 really needs more than anything is Burglars as NPCs adding to the base game, The Sims 1, 2 and 3 all had them and it's ridiculous how The Sims 4 still doesn't have them yet, Burglars should be have a togger on/off option in gameplay settings to make it fair to those that don't want them in their game, this would add a huge level of depth to gameplay to The Sims 4 that we really need.
I agree. I was also wondering why there are no NPC police officers? There needs to be a bit of ruckus in the game to keep it exciting. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen asleep playing Sims 4. I'm serious. You would think I was narcoleptic lol.
Been waiting so long for burglars I'm baffled to why they aren't added in yet. I need sims to actually fear for their things and have a disturbance now and again.
Definitely got all the elements to make one considering how vampires can break in and 'steal' sims plasma and leave. Really want one. Detective/police officers in Get to Work. Wouldn't mind having a officer popping into neighborhoods just to free roam for a routine 'patrol' of sorts or maybe even having like a neighborhood watch for sims.
Kinda iffy on there being a toggle if only because the options for toggles is starting to get long as there seems like there has to be a toggle for everything these days in the game.

I only want them back if there is no restrictions or skill requirements for the homeowner in order for them to fight off said interloper! I miss that from Sims2, in particular.
They released burglars as basegame update.
