There are ob/gyns in the game, they're the ones who deliver the babies when your sim gives birth in the hospital. 😁

This suggestion would increase the game's rating. It is not proper for the T for teen. Btw, I have female teens who play this game, since I introduced it to them. They both told me this isn't something they would want. 

I'm glad the game will not notice this for a teen rated game and not allow it.

I've experienced this feature with mods and it's no different to the midlife crises episode except you get a the green stink cloud...and a shower.

Edit: this type of gameplay can get real dirty (inappropriate) and out of hand for all the kids that play in the sims series. 

Take a shower= cleansing and cool down.

I think it would be great to include ob/ygns and periods in the sims as an optional feature along with a moodlet cheack ups during pregnancy menopause body changes birth control and conversations about fertility and all around surrounding female health in general cause this stuff isn’t taboo and shouldn’t be cause if you can woohoo in a teen rated game such in closets beds showers bushes dumpsters hot tubs and a rocket ship electrocute your sims or have them die in a humor or non humorous way depict pregnancy have cheating and affairs striking sexy poses flirting kissing or even lingere then I don’t see why not they wouldn’t include periods birth control fertility ob/ygns menopause body changes and other health concerns in a t rated game Cause it’s not inappropriate it’s not gonna push further past the teen rating cause of all the things I just explained in the game that you can do and I understand why some people may feel like it’s a bit much but we need this sorta thing and it can be optional wether or not you want you sim to have a period and if they add theses features there not just brave there pushing for more cause we need more period / menopause / reproductive health rep in games and in media in general especially if that person is non binary or a trans man so no it’s not bad or risky or sexual it’s a normal thing people in real life go through and what they should put in for more realism like if you agree ;)

I also got the idea to ask this cause I saw in one of the comments under a sims mid video **bleep** I believe about it I think how they wish there were periods/ birth control I believe 

Thanks everyone for reading my post and took the time to consider my suggestion or support it I understand why everyone would think that periods/ menopause/ birth control is too much for a teen game but if you can wear lingerie woohoo in odd places do sexy poses kiss flirt have an affair cheating killing your sims in different ways then I don’t see why they wouldn’t allow what I just explained it’s not inappropriate it’s not sexual there’s no nudity it’s depicting real and real life situations people go through on a daily basis and no it’s not gonna hinder the teen rating when this all what teens are learning at the moment or have already known and this shouldn’t be taboo or frownd apon cause we need more of this representation especially in a sandbox game like the sims where playability is unlimited in the game so periods birth control fertility menopause or not gross they are not weird or unwelcome there part of female anatomy and good day to everyone who read or supported it means a lot 

I'm not sure how much realism you expect from the game. If they add periods they're likely to be just moodlets and nothing more, like how sims get a stomach bug. There is birth control already included in the game because the sims have the option to woohoo or woohoo for baby. Same with the ob/gyn, he's there in game. If you want to see your female sims in that contraption for other reasons than pregnancy, they could probably add that, but seriously don't expect something less silly than that. Just look at the ailments coming with the new EP, Enchanted by Nature. As for menopause, it's probably going to work like the werewolf rage. 😁

The Sims has never been about realism. They purposely call it woohoo and refer alcohol as nectar to keep the Teen rating. You can't even get drunk in the game. Since they tie everything to moodlets, that is all you would really see. What this post asks for is to up the rating for mature audiences only. EA isn't about to do that because that isn't the target audience. I allowed my kids to play this game as young as 6 years old because they could handle the Teen rating. There is already a warning about the references with a teen rating. It isn't about shame or embarrassment. My youngest daughter became a woman at age 8 and she didn't need a game to teach that type of stuff. Perhaps look at what is technically allowed under the game's current rating.  I googled the rating to show what is allowed. It can reference but not explicitly show it. When Sims woohoo, you can't seee it, so that is a reference. What was described in the original post was more explicit.

oh you mean just american teens...the rest of world finds it appropriate for teens...
