Prov31Simmer I get it and totally understand. But as mentioned, obviously there are players who want it in their game. TBH I know a ton who would use this, as they use the known mod and want more realism. It should be available with the option to turn it off—so everyone can play this as they please. This would be a good compromise. One does not need to use all provided features as long as you have the option to turn them off. 😉 But hey, that's just my opinion.
Actually, they only normally give opt out options for things via dlc packs. The things I listed are base game. So, unless they make a new dlc pack with these features, I can predict any introduction will be forced with no way to 100% opt out. Kind of like I enjoy the wants, but not the fears that were a part of base game. I play a wants based game-play. Unfortunately, I am forced to have fears if I desire to utilize the wants for my Sims 2 style gameplay. Those things should be separated, as they are 2 entirely different things. As of now they are not, since to turn off fears I am forced to turn off wants. I have been required to mod away the fears so I can utilize the wants. My prediction is I would be forced to find yet another mod to 100% get rid of any menstrual cycle type feature added.
