Personally, I do not see the appeal to "risky woohoo", and I have no desire to play any young families. And it seems rather morbid to sort of force for those with zero interest in chance babies/unplanned babies from regular woohoo to have delete/restart a save, wait for child service workers to take the child, etc. like some after the fact baby rejection to avoid a pregnancy/children (and would be particularly insensitive to anyone who may find unplanned pregnancies triggering). So this would be a nightmare outcome for my gameplay. Woohoo is an easy way to keep up romantic satisfaction, and taking away a player's control to keep a couple/family from having any or more pregnancies seems counterproductive.
Though it might be a fun idea to have "risky woohoo" chance, but IMHO "Try for Baby" should just be a smaller chance or be the version of "risky woohoo" instead. Maybe even internal fertility chances depending on traits of both parents. Family-Oriented should boost the most and Noncommittal/Hates Children should be the lowest. And most non-obvious indicating Traits would be a default average chance. At least then lower chances make it more worth while to seek out ways to increase fertility from items/objects/buffs/moodlets/etc.
