Re: The Sims 4 For Xbox Series S have a Big Problem

You should probably learn the definition of 'bug' versus 'want.'

@MiamiHeat2008 It shouldn´t be a "want". If someone is playing The Sims 4 on Xbox Series S, running at 60 fps should be the bare minimum.
  • I'm glad someone has raised this as a specific issue for Xbox series S.

I upgraded to next gen after my Xbox one struggled with all the packs I had. I was hesitant about getting the series S but could not get a series X after months of trying and could not play my game.

At first it was great, very fast and very smooth gameplay. But as I added more packs it started to get unstable. Especially after cottage living. Sometimes the images become slow and shadowed if that makes sense. I'm also crashing and taking 3 attempts at least to load my game and I've reported that on the relevant feed and been in direct contact with the team.

I've also got a bug report in for a message I get about my graphics settings every time I play the Sims 4. On that thread, another player told me about this issue you've raised here.

I'm bitterly disappointed in the whole situation after the amount of money spent.

@Rachelharris31It happens occasionally but not all the time. The whole game starts to get a bit of a lag with it too. 95% of the time I'd say it looks ok. I upgraded my tv and WiFi at the same time as my Xbox so I didn't know which of the 3 was causing the blurring.

Edit: there are a couple of other threads here that may or may not be appropriate too: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Consoles/Sims-4-Xbox-Message-about-updating-graphics-settings/td-p/11087145

@simsplayer818 Me too, I have a series x that my parents got me for my birthday. I haven't been able to play for a YEAR, and it's upsetting honestly. I have almost all the main packs. I have 25 add ons, on my sims game.
