San Myshuno, part 2

Hi,

Technically San Myshuno is a big city, right ? So it should have more than 5 neighborhoods.

I also think Spice Market is the best neighborhood that Maxis has ever done.

I like these points and I would like to see them again :

  • Vibrant neighborhood
  • Low polygon background people
  • Flea market + one festival : Maybe a black market selling corrupted cheat codes and rewards (Satisfaction Rewards, ...)
  • Weirdos wandering
  • Street artists
  • Small open area but well designed and optimized for social life in city

But this time it would be wonderful if Maxis could do smaller apartments with a system similar to Tiny Home Residential including apartments with terrace and Sliding doors.

Starter apartments for single students because actually EP03 City Living apartments are too big.

For example IRL my first apartment was 5x6 (30m², living room + bathroom + kitchen + terrace).

This new part of the city could include rabbithole businesses/services like Movie theater, Landgraab Grocery store (low quality industrial fruit/vegetable), Fast food restaurant, ...

I forgot to mention Apartment Neighbors. It should be available for Eco Lifestyle apartments when City Living is installed.

It's an important part of the social experience of living in an apartment.

  • I think all city worlds should have at least one neighbourhood as vibrant as the Spice Market.

I agree ,  it doesn't make sense to have a home world with 3-4 huge neighborhoods and festivals in all the neighborhoods.

In fact cities have high population density area with less space in the downtown and huge open area for the suburbs.

I would also like to see one Concrete/Industrial/Muddy/Dirty neighborhood or a new neighborhood with buildings under construction

Well, if they limit festivals to one neighbourhood only, it would help with festival fatigue. But, I don't mind the festivals themselves, even though some are a bit boring. I don't like when we get downtown areas that are supposed to be lively and populated but instead they are like ghost towns.

Those construction sites can only be decorative because sims can't live in them while they are under construction. But if they are located near your sim's lot, then maybe they could add some specific sound effects like cranes screeching, pick hammers drilling, workers shouting and wolf whistling. 😁🤣 It makes the neighbourhood feel animated. Maybe sims could sneak in at night to paint graffiti and scale the crane to take selfies.
