I am getting tired of manually deleting premade households one by one every time I start a new save. It’s frustrating to see the same old families appear in each new save. I would like to suggest an improvement for the ‘Manage Households’ screen, where the option to select multiple households at once is added. Plus ‘Select All’ feature would be also especially useful to delete all premade families quickly.
A workaround is to create and save an empty save file to start from every time. There are a couple on CurseForge with most worlds emptied of Sims and houses.
Once you have it blank, use Save As… and save it as “BLANK GAME” or something like that, and then Save As… again in a new slot as “New start” or whatever you want to call it and start playing. That way you can go back to the “Blank Game” save when you want to start a new game.
or… you can use the MCCC mod to delete all households in the game at once. There’s instructions online about how to do it.
Yes, you are right but I don't use mods.
Mods make the game playable. The number of times I've had to reset my Sim with MCCC because they got stuck is innumerable. I did it at least four times last night.
