I think it does? But that also doesn't allow you to modify their Occult status and so an Occult parent will mean Occult children, or vice versa. Sure, I have MCCC cheats mod so I can do it that way, but still. Heck, now that I think about it, the ability to change the occult state of an existing Sim in CAS without having to create a completely new Sim, especially for those who do not want to cheat/mod.
Like a good example is I wanted to make one of my werewolf Sims her genetic mother, but I wanted her mother to not be a werewolf. Well, you can't do that in CAS. So I had to make her as a werewolf, then cheat her back to human once the game loaded. Then for fun I went ahead and gave her Dormant Wolf while I was at it, but that wasnt' necessary, but the ability to create her with genetics then remove (or add) her occult state legitimately would be nice.
