Sims 4 could have been a good game

Due to load times of over 12 minutes to resume game or travel this game could have been good. Sims freeze and take to long to complete tasks, this game has widely disappointed many players with its lag time.  My 1 TB system is in very good shape and has lots of free space so I know the issue is with EA.

The game is no longer worth playing due to its failure to perform tasks and load or travel at excessive amounts of time it takes.

Sims 3 and older were the best due to the fact you can play right away with no lag. I miss the days you could just pop in a game and play right away.

This sounds like something already reported, that the team are aware of that is affecting a handful of players. But not all players. I can confirm that my game takes around 30 seconds to intially load and then loading between lots is about 3-5 seconds. Please do not speak for all players when it is not affecting all players.

You are free to find other games to make you happier 😊

The Sims 3 was very poorly optimised and extremely laggy compared to The Sims 4.

  • freaktheheat, My own assessment is that the loading times got worse when "memory boost" no longer was optional. Memory boost is what made my loading times longer and I stated as much in the bug reporting forum. They do not want my saves, because I use both cc and mods. They are asking for mod-free saves to help them get more info.
