I have a community lot with a restaurant that has a pool. I'd like Sims to still come to restaurant in the winter but I don't want any of them ( this is somethingTownies sometimes do) freezing to death because they decided to swim. Could we have a sign that could be clicked on that says pool not available in winter?
I'm so tired of townies dying because they're dumb. even my own sims try to do things like that and it drives me insane
Like others said, fencing and the geothermal lot trait, but I wish there were pool covers either EA in game or a mod. Click on it to 'cover the pool' which makes it so they cannot autonomously swim. So simple!
The trauma the autonomy swimming in winter causes. My family was having a toddler play date with her half brother; his dad went swimming and froze to death right there.
You can also add the geothermal lot trait and it will warm the pool water. Also, some short fences can also keep sims out of the pool and make it look like a fountain.
I have the same problem and it's so frustrating. As I'm reading, I figured that currently the only solution available right now is to have the pool area fenced off with a lockable gate 🤷
