The biggest disappointment in The Sims 4 comes from expansions that are poor in content and lack synergy. Synergy is essential to reward players who have invested over the years, especially financially. It would be ideal if The Sims 4 offered content with coherent features and updated older packs, like Get to Work or certain supernatural Sims that lack skill trees. Personally, Life Mode’s interface has become a jungle: each pack adds small features with similar effects in different forms, but ultimately without depth—for example, the vacuum doesn’t work in a house without electricity, so why isn’t there a broom to use instead, or even being allergic to dust, which would be a change from the symptoms caused by other Sims.
I find the Neighborhood Action Plans feature in The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle interesting, but it should be as flexible as the Group Creation feature. The more customizable features there are in the game, the better for replayability. The game should stop scripting gameplay, except for the main pack storyline, like quests. And seriously, the paper bags on the heads—who came up with that abominable idea?
