I would love to see a Storytime Chair added to the Base Game, functioning similarly to the Yoga Instructor mat, where children, toddler and adult sims with the Childish trait can gather around to listen to stories read to them. If placed on a community lot, a special NPC storyteller will come to read books aloud to anyone within the chair's vicinity. If placed on a home lot, retail lot, or small business lot, your sim can host storytelling sessions themselves! Furthermore, its implementation could introduce unique animations and interactions tailored for various age groups, appealing to players seeking diverse activities. By embracing this feature, Maxis would not only expand the game's educational components but also align with contemporary childhood trends that prioritize literacy and collaborative learning in engaging formats.
