BG Suggestion: Interests (Likes and dislikes)

I feel like we have so much interests-related social interactions but they don't feel deep enough to provide a relevant gameplay, so i thought of the interests from The Sims 1 and 2 having a comeback. 

They'd be similar to the sims characteristics likes and dislikes but for their own actions, making sims feeling good or bad about the activity they're doing and the actual topics/themes they're having on a conversation.
