Hi there! I am super annoyed by the pop up challenges on the top left corner and also the constant calls on the phone. Even when I silence the phone it still rings. The challenges make it hard to focus on the challenges at current hand like dates, parties, events, etc.

You need to toggle between events that are occurring in your game to avoid the in-game events.
It's annoying but it works.
If you don’t want the Discovery quests, you can go turn them off by going to Game Options, then the Tutorial & Tips section, then the Discovery Quests section.

I just want less phone calls in general it's so annoying who thought of that? I'm sorry but like...why? Calling to offer you a job when your Sims is already working on their dream job or is in the university so calling about a job offer just doesn't make sense and it needs to go ASAP. Calling about making friends or going on a date or even having a baby? When I know I stopped my sim from calling by turning off I babies in CAS? I don't care who your friends with or who you want to date especially if my sim just met you...Also the random calls when my sim is busy is like omg. On top of that if we got kids the school calls about your kids at school, then we have Bess calling, the anonymous call, you make a friend the pop up I'm so glad you made friends with? Hey you want to go to this festival? It's so intrusive and annoying.

asking for a baby, a date, friendship, jobs, job offerings, festivals, earning money, giving others money, getting anonymous call
unless you don't have a career, the work offering they are giving you completely needs to go, it's not necessary, they should remove it, however neighbourhood stories are fine though, just not the phone calls if you already have a career
as for the other ones, friendship, romance, job careers, having kids we already have neighbourhood stories for that and i'm fine with it so a call asking to have a baby isn't necessary
as for the festivals i know it means well but it's so annoying we get a call each time there's some kind of a festival (the event that pops up in general should be optional to toggle it on/off)
as for the money to earn them by a phone call: it may be good for some challenges if you want your sims to get married to become rich, other than that, it isn't necessary, i know we have 3 options we can click on but we don't need this so often if your sim is single
as for giving others money, i know others can earn them from your money but it's freaking annoying especially if you want a challenge you start poor, if we are giving them money we can do so themselves when face to face instead of the phone call one
we don't need the phone calls all the times, it can be way lesser
we need a version like The Sims 2 we get a phone call your sim answer the call without the question popping up all the times
