The Sims 4: Capital Influence Expansion Pack Idea

Hey everyone!

I was thinking about how cool it would be to have a Sims 4 expansion that really dives into politics in a fun and kinda chaotic way. So I came up with this idea—The Sims 4: Capital Influence Expansion Pack.

Right now, we have the politician career from City Living, but it’s pretty basic. This pack would expand on it and make it a fully playable career where your Sim can start as a small-town representative and work their way up to President of SimNation (because let’s be real, “National Leader” is way too boring). There would be actual elections where Sims can vote, and instead of just convincing Sims for their support, you’d have to get them to sign petitions to even get on the ballot. From there, you’d campaign, debate, and try to win over voters. Popularity, like in Get Famous, would play a huge role, so your Sim’s reputation could make or break their chances.

There would also be political parties—something like Simpublicans and Llamacrats—along with different ideologies and causes your Sim can support. Maybe your Sim fights for free Cowplant care, or maybe they want to ban juice keg parties. It all depends on their platform. You could also become a lobbyist and pay off other politicians to pass or block certain policies, adding a whole new strategy element. A morality system would determine if your Sim is an honest leader or totally corrupt, which could affect everything from how Sims treat them in public to whether scandals pop up in the news.

The new world, Capitol City, would be inspired by SimNation’s center of government. It would have grand government buildings, historic areas, and wealthy estates where all the power players live. There would be places for protests, rallies, and press conferences, so your Sim could either connect with the people or just try to dodge scandals.

I feel like this could be such a fun mix of drama, strategy, and storytelling. It would add so much depth to the game, plus it could be kind of educational without feeling like school. What do you guys think? Would you play this?
