tbh it's probably because these are assets that the sims team would assume you're not going to look at very closely since there's not much interaction (or none at all in the case of the Outdoor Retreat squirrels) and they've always tried to make sure the game can run on a potato. I'm not saying I don't want quality resolution throughout, just thinking this could be the reason for it. :/

Yeah, as said "half a decade ago." Also, this is EA. They'll put enough into the environment land-wise, the build items, the CAS items and such... but unless the animal in question is a main feature that your Sim will interact with up close... they aren't going to put in the same sort of effort in a bird most players will never put so much visual focus on. 

As for the last sentence... um... they seem to have shown a lack of respect for the community for quite a while since they know the community is so loyal and will keep buying despite everything.

This pack was released in 2019, at that time, video game developers were able to offer us more quality than that. Not doing a refresh of the whole game is almost a lack of respect for their community.

I wish they did a refresh on birds and other animals in the enivroment, cause that is not. cute.

Miataplay😀 Thanks. When AHQ shut down this is the only place for Luthienrising's mod reports and the current bug list which are pretty much the only things I look at here.
