juleskrobertson You can actually snorkel in first person camera in Sulani with Island Living. You can see all of the underwater features, all the beautiful details of the reefs and the aquatic life. You can do it while swimming as a Sim or as a mermaid and while canoeing (which is lovely on the ocean at night) too but with the snorkelling your Sim is travelling at the right speed and water level to appreciate it and see more. You can also scuba dive with breathing apparatus to collect treasure, shells and even underwater photos. There's a whole set of pirate treasures and seashells to collect. There is also already a conservationist career in the pack where your Sim can be an Environmental Manager or Marine Biologist. Sims can also join the diving career. Any Sims can help clean up the neighbourhood beaches and ocean to revive it and bring pink dolphins to swim around again once it's restored. Sims can even take water samples where there is a neon blue algae effect, as part of the career tasks and chastise any Sims caught poaching endangered fish species. You can also play a shipwreck/castaway theme by living off the more remote islands and collecting and fishing to survive. Plus there are water lots you can swim up to. There's also glass panels to make skylights on a flat roof or to make a glass floor which is really cool on a water lot, to have the ocean right underneath your Sim's feet. So while you weren't sure if the pack would appeal to you, it's one of my favourites for these features. You can also travel to the baby turtle hatching which is adorable. 🧜
An underwater cavern rabbit hole would be cool. There is an underground cavern to explore in Sulani but you can't travel with them unlike the base game forgotten grotto. You just get updates about what your Sim is seeing, like the cavern that is part of For Rent. It's a shame you can't travel with them. 🏝️
