Wedding Items as or in Heirlooms/Keepsake Boxes

I’m getting annoyed that I can’t put the wedding items such as the bouquets and cake toppers in keepsake boxes or even create them as heirlooms. Playing with generational saves those are some of the things I would want to pass down to the next generation. So why can’t they be put in items created for such.
