when Sim wear shoes indoors..

This message was written using a translation tool, so it may not be perfectly smooth. Thank you for your understanding.

I have set my lot to be a "No Shoes Indoors" household, where Sims are either barefoot or wear indoor slippers. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes Sims still walk around the house wearing shoes. After this happens, they usually get a “Playful” moodlet for breaking the rule.

As someone from East Asia, I find this a bit uncomfortable. I understand that in Western cultures, it’s more common to wear shoes indoors. But in East Asian countries like Korea or Japan, it's standard to remove shoes at the door and go barefoot or wear indoor slippers. I appreciate that The Sims includes the option to remove shoes indoors, which is likely for players from East Asian regions.

However, I hope the part where Sims get a playful moodlet for wearing shoes in a no-shoes house can be revised. For many of us, wearing shoes indoors isn't seen as playful—it feels more like a cultural mistake than a joke.

No matter what the traits are, I find it uncomfortable when that kind of moodlet pops up.

I did a bit of research and it seems that sims tend to ignore the no shoes rule if they are in a playful mood. So maybe try to limit the playful mood somehow, especially if you have objects around the house with the playful mood aura activated. Or if you have sims with childish or goofball traits that puts them in a playful mood more often you could consider changing them.
