Why can't my reaper talk to the revive!?

I was assigned to reap a Sim with a plea. The stake was favorable for my Sim to date, so he revived him, but we can't even talk to him! I don't think I know the word with how specifically upset I am experiencing this. Maybe at least to take back my revive to take his nether portal for my barely manage able solid quota for being wrongly tricked.

I don't care how wrong that is as a game while I'm emersed with my Sim enough. Being ticked of for my Sim he just accepted for the job just because something to do while he figures himself out with fabrication with his aspiration and moved in not yet complete Pineapple house (just because).

Just one less than the enjoyable benefits of working as a reaper, while buying the office supplies and feeding Grim. Is pranking the toilet for parts and playing video games really my Sim can have? Those are something, but kind of **bleep** picking, but I don't think that word is enough of what my mere upsetness is about.
