Posts like these are so funny. If you don't like a game, don't play it. We used to simply not play games we didn't like. We didn't go online and complain about not liking them (or not liking them anymore). We moved onto something else.
It's one thing when a game comes out and is completely broken. But when the game works fine, has for years, in this case has for more than twice the lifespan of previous titles, and continues to recieve content...it's a you problem for you to solve. If you are no longer engaged with the game, you move on. You do not demand everyone else move on, too.
The Sims 4 is more popular than ever. It gets over a million new players a year and has concurrently for the last several years. It is objectively not losing players, it is gaining players. It is doing better than ever, getting more patches than ever, and getting more content than ever. You being bored of it does not discount the simple facts that they make public every year or so noting how popular the game is. It is one of the top 10 most played games in existence at this moment in time. "But I would rather play a new version" doesn't change that.
