Why did you only just take that one single piece form my quote without the context?
The entire context is available in your original post, but I wanted to make it clear which of your comments I was replying to. People have been replying like that since the days of USENET.
And yes, the game's animations would have to be reworked, but that is part of the cost of making this improvement. And maybe the cost–benefit analysis indicates that the improvement isn't worth doing. But the cost doesn't mean that there is no benefit.
dbmcgrew, highlighting on one phrase is seen as cherrypicking and gives people like myself a very negative impression of the person doing the cherrypicking. It continually given a bad impression of certain types of individuals, but I suspect that was the purpose. Personally, I will either quote the ENTIRE message or just @ the username.
Btw, It is valid to say that there is no actual benefits to adding a preteen stage to a game that is currently over a decade old, since it launched in 2014. There is significant cost to creating animations to yet another body frame size, creating CAS assets to yet another frame size, and creating significant unique gameplay features for that new frame. They are barely putting money into the current packs if what I have seen via the early access videos is something to go by. The Sims franchise may be EA's cash cow, but they certainly are not giving it the same amount of financial love that it brings in by revenue.

Prov31Simmer, I certainly wasn't trying to cherrypick. After all, the entire conversation is visible right here in this discussion thread. I was merely trimming the quoted material to make it clear what I was actually replying to, including only the part relevant to my reply. This has been considered good netiquette in online discussions for decades. Quoting an entire message only to reply to part of it is actually considered poor netiquette.

I mean you both can say what ya want but there's opinions and then there's facts and the matter of fact is there can be different body frames added to the game because toddlers a different frame and infants another different body frame was added to the game, talking about there's money when they literally added two different body frames in the game like...
Also your argument but their glitchy, it's glitchy when we get a new pack it's glitchy when they add occults to the game werewolves, mermaids, and last year Fairies were all glitchy but it's okay because their occults.

Briana2526, I haven't bought any dlc in almost 3 years. It is because of the broken and glitchy packs and lackluster gameplay features. I don't play with occults, but if I did, I would still not buy the broken packs. I also stopped playing the game for over a year due to the rain/snow inside bug and the save corruption that happened to my long-time legacy save that was started in 2016. I am realistic when I say that EA isn't giving proper funding to the game to achieve a pre-teen lifestage. They are not even getting proper funding to make significant gameplay features in the last few packs. I alternate between Sims 4, Sims 2(not the re-release done on the EA app since I own the game), and Story of Seasons. I am waiting for a new single-player games from both my favorite franchises.

Again that's your opinion I think after the last pack AA and this latest pack R&L I think the funding is fine since AA was hugely popular and R&L is reaching a very good amount of audience. I mean it's just the beginning of the year well might even get surprised.

Briana2526, Adventure Awaits is still broken and certain things do not work properly. It also relies on other packs too much as seen in the trailers when they used other dlc to flesh it out. The only really new thing was the playground pieces and the imaginary friend, but those are not worth the current price and are hardly even worth $20.
According to the little I have seen of the newest pack via early access videos, it has ZERO new traits, has one single aspiration, which I suspect is just a tutorial type and not really engaging. It has sword fighting that visually glitches and probably will not be fixed before it launches. The "system" looks like a reskin of the club system menu that orginally was for get together. Oh, and there is plenty of set dressing that can not be interacted with. There is also another rabbit hole and I suspect it offers those flash card check boxes with choices that do not really impact gameplay. The last few things I mentioned appear like recycled gameplay, not even worth half price as well.
