‎Sims 4 promotion not working as advertised by a lot of media coverage‎

Online and on a variety of media links over the last 2 days there have been articles claiming EA/Origin to be offering the base game of sims 4 for £11. However on searching and searching through EA and Origin to get this deal despite posts being less than 2 days old, i don't seem to be able to access this discount.

Basically i just want to know why i can't access the promotion that people have been raving about for the last 2 days.

I guess i just thought it would be nice for EA to keep this offer going a while longer because of the UK lockdown and people being put in emotional and mental turmoil being stuck indoors as well as having less funds than before.

    Currently Perfect Patio Stuff is on sale. Sales change often so check often to see if/when it comes on sale again.

    One of the many examples of news articles detailing this massive discount. seems odd to have just disappeared off the face of the earth.

    @emmagreenway1 there was a sale on last week, I remember seeing the expansions 50% off and other packs 25% off. There was a countdown on the main menu. Checking historical pricing on Is There Any Deal shows that it was on sale 13 to 23 March pretty much everywhere.

    Wouldn't surprise me if The Sun just wrote about it on the final day of the sale, pretty late to the game. It was on sale for ten days, which I think is enough time for this kind of promotional sale.
