Using household manager in the world manager mode to move a household that had an invisible friend on the lot (not in the child's inventory) completely borked a save file. I got fatal errors every time trying to access a lot after that. It kicks the same error message as what folks get when they get stuck invisible or lost in inventory, just came from a different cause.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What are the errors you're getting ?
I am so sorry! I didn't get notification of your replies. I think I've fixed that now. I'm so sorry to cause you to have to ask twice.
I do mod but mostly TOOL, BBB, MCCC. I pulled them, deleted cache files, no change. I tried bulldozing the lot but no change, nor did replacing the building with one from the gallery. I ended up abandoning the save.
I haven't tried to bork another one :). I'll set up a test save tomorrow and try to recreate it. Waiting on new laptop to finish downloading all the things.
