Accidently deleted Household. How can I get them back?

Hello I am new here and dont really know how to ask a question..

Nevertheless I hope someone can help me because I am out of ideas.
Most of my sims experience is in building and creating but I wanted to start a actual new game where I
play and prepared some sims for that. Incuding some of my favorite sims I spend hours on makeing..


Now the issue.

I did delete some households out of the library (because I often save them and keep working on them
later and it got to many files I didnt needed), but accidently deleted the household I wanted to keep.

AND NOW THEY ARE GONE !



I did close the game imeadiatly without saveing after I noticed that mistake seconds after. But they are still
gone when I reopen the game.


I tried to set it back to a older save file but its still gone.

and I tried to go throu the tray folder in hope to find them but they are also gone..


So it seems like there is no way to get them back?

if yes thats really bad if thats the case because it took me hours and days and there was some of my favorite sims even..


I also dont understand why they are just gone if I didnt even save the game?
or seems like it doesnt matter if you delete them directly ingame from the library?


If anyone has an answer to how to restore that I would be very VERY grateful.

    @zlpiipp89awz Where exactly did you delete them ? In the library itself or just not save your game ? Did you check if the save is there at all ?

    Don't think the files are moved to the trash can when you delete them through the game but it's always worth to check.

    @zlpiipp89awz Unfortunately, the library is what’s saved to the tray folder, separate from any individual game save file. So when you edit something in the library, it doesn’t matter whether or not you save the game because the library is edited regardless. That’s why your library is always the same no matter what save you’re in, allowing you to move builds and sims from one save to another.

    However - had you placed this family in world yet? Is there any chance you can recover a save where they’re in world, then add them from there back to your library?
