Adventure awaits custom type lot not available!

looks like you have a family living on the lot. Evict them if you want to build a custom venu.

If that's not the case: Any mods/cc in your game ?

Oh do I need to have any empty lot without family before I can build a custom venue? 
No Mods at all which is why it’s strange. 

If you want to run a getaway at your home, you can set the getaway up and choose your home lot (or any other residential lot) for the getaway location. Custom venues are not residential, so you can’t create them where a family is living.

Having the same issue. I tried making a fresh lot in Newcrest and building somemthing but no dice, completly empty lot too. I also apparently have 2 Gibbi Points in game. I haven't tried reinstalling the game yet but did try a fix recommended removing the local thumb cache and repairing my save and importing it. But that didn't work either.

Two copies of the world usually means the pack didn’t install correctly. Try disabling the pack and reenabling.

edit: Sorry, previous suggestion of just repairing the game wouldn’t work

Yeah, a few, WW, XML injector, hire certain sims Get To Work, Subject homework high school, and a few simple ones like NPC career Realm of Magic sages, DJ, librarian etc. (just makes specific sims show up for NCP jobs), and a couple tiny ones like no bitter prom invite, and stop constantly pranking toilets.

So just for anyone who was curiuos, I try disabling the pack and reenabling and that got rid of the second Gibbi Point, still having issues with the Custom Venue type lot not being selectable. Where I run onto problems is mostly with lots that are already built, or lots from the gallery if I want to chage the lot type. But I've had the same problem with community centers from Growing Together, or I think there was a clubhouse/ teen hangout lot type lot from another pack at some point something like that, never got that to work. I think the main problem is too many packs not playing well together. But the workaround I found is that if you schedule a getaway from a sim's phone you can force a lot into being custom lot type. I changed the lot I wanted to use to lot type generic, scheduled the getaway there, set up all the roles how I wanted and that seems to be working. It would be nice if we could disable content from packs we don't use, but keep the build/buy and worlds and lots to keep the bugginess down. Like I have My Wedding Stories because it was on sale super cheap and I like Tartosa, but notoriously buggy, and I've never tried to have a wedding there or anything like that.
