it was not cc I don't think bc it was not after I downloaded any cc and it used to do it I think it might just be a bug
Also, to kind of hip check with Pug to update mods. The thing with mods if something LOOKS odd i.e. mermaids not changing their tails, make a new save file for purely test game. That way you dont lose the CC on your game Sim and have to add it back on. It's also a good chance to remove all mods and dig into the bigger picture. Adding mods on and off to see which one may be out of date that needs updating etc. After examination with this, I figured out which mods were outdated that dis the same thing to my mermaids too. After updating all, they run perfectly and I didn't lose the CC I set on my in game Sims. I hope this helps.
